Your installation includes sample data, designed to show you some of the options you have for building your website. In addition to information about Joomla! there are two sample "sites within a site" designed to help you get started with building your own site.

The first site is a simple site about Australian Parks. It shows how you can quickly and easily build a personal site with just the building blocks that are part of Joomla. It includes a personal blog, weblinks, and a very simple image gallery.

The second site is slightly more complex and represents what you might do if you are building a site for a small business, in this case a Fruit Shop.

In building either style site, or something completely different, you will probably want to add extensions and either create or purchase your own template. Many Joomla users start by modifying the templates that come with the core distribution so that they include special images and other design elements that relate to their site's focus.

Fifohub is now closed for registration of new users

The time has come to migrate the Fifohub system to the new Proceduresync™ system.  The new system will have some great added benefits such as:

  • The ability to read and accept accountable documents on mobile devices and through the web portal
  • The ability to mark documents as "Favourites"
  • Users will have their own "Private" folder that they can upload documents to and have those documents automatically downloaded to their mobile devices

The migration will be complete by the end of March.

Important:  If you currently use the Fifohub system to receive documents, you can continue to use this system until it is turned off.  An email will be sent out advising users when the system is turned off.

Fifohub will be migrating to the Proceduresync™ system - you can visit to find out more about the new system features.

We have a new support section!

Knowledge Base

Over the next month we will add more documents to the knowledge base section.  This will allow users to search for helpful information.

Support Tickets

You can now lodge a support ticket if you have a problem.  This allows you to track the ticket until it is solved.

  • Extensions

The Joomla! content management system lets you create webpages of various types using extensions. There are 5 basic types of extensions: components, modules, templates, languages, and plugins. Your website includes the extensions you need to create a basic website in English, but thousands of additional extensions of all types are available. The Joomla! Extensions Directory is the largest directory of Joomla extensions.
